Directions: All hashers are invited to attend the St. Louis Wheelchair Athletic Association's Quad Rugby Tournament in the PE building of St. Louis Community College. If you've never seen disabled people beat the hell out of each other in the name of fun, you've got to check this out. Quad rugby was formerly called "Murder Ball", but this scared away too many potential players. The game, as described by player Vito Lucido, is "a brutal game of smear the queer and bumber cars" Watch a game, get some free food, then cross the street to hash!
Robinson Elementary School is on Couch Avenue, right across the street from St. Louis Community College, Meramec Campus.
To get there from the interchange of 270 and highway 40, take 270 South to Big Bend Blvd, exit # 7. Turn Left onto Big Bend and proceed approximately 1 mile to Couch Avenue. Turn Left onto Couch Avenue and proceed on Couch for about .1 miles. The school will be on your left; look for hashers in the rear parking lot.
From Illinois: Either take the Poplar Street Bridge to Highway 40 and follow the directions above,or: Take highway 44 West to Big Bend Blvd, exit 278. Turn Right onto Big bend Blvd and proceed to Couch Avenue (the college campus will be on your right). Turn Right onto Couch and proceed for about .1 miles. Look for hashers in the rear parking lot.
