Grand Master (GM)  

• The GM is the voice and face of the Hash
• Attends Big-Hump hashes regularly
• Ensures that visitors are attended to and feel welcomed
• Calls for and runs mismanagement meetings, makes the final decision in case of a tie
• Is knowledgeable of the kennel’s traditions and steers the hash toward those traditions whenever it runs astray
• Oversees all special events
• Ensures that other committee members fulfill responsibilities, and fill in when needed
• Supports and encourages ALL factions of the hash including racist events
• This person should be an experienced hasher with previous mismanagement experience

Religious Advisor (RA)

• Lead (or supervise) chalk talk before each hash
• Conduct the blessing of the hare/hares
• Recruit someone to write the Hash Trash for that evening’s event
• Lead circle at end of each hash
• Responsible for providing good (or at least interesting) weather for hashes
• This person should be an experienced and knowledgeable hasher. A loud and clear voice and a sense of humor helps
• The R.A. should attend Big-Hump hashes regularly

Hare Raiser

• Solicit volunteer hares for upcoming hashes
• Explain expectations and responsibilities to new hares
• Co-Hare with and train new hares
• Collect details (meet time, directions, theme, etc.) about upcoming hashes
• Send those details to Webmaster   and e-mail to all hashers
• Update directions to the hotline
• Serve as fill-in hare for emergencies
• Should be an experienced (and good!) lay’er

On-Sec

• Provide minutes for Mismanagement meetings
• Obtain and distribute fliers and business cards
• Monitor road trips and other events and submits this information to the Web Meister

Web Meister

• Update and maintain the web page
• Work in conjunction with other Mismanagement members to collect information
• Maintain domain name(s)
• Maintain hosting account
• Requires working knowledge of HTML

Beer Meister

• Beermeister is the most important and most thankless position in the Hash
• Beermeister brings cost effective beer to hashes
• Maintains inventory (cans or kegs) of hash beer
• Provide cups, trash bags and snacks at each hash
• Coordinate with hares to provide for beer stops as necessary

HaberDasher

• The Haberdasher will be proactive and smart about obtaining misc. hash items (T-shirts, headbands, 100 Run mugs, whistles, etc.)
• Provide pictures of individual haberdashery items to Webmeister
• Maintain an inventory of current haberdashery items. Submit up-to-date list to Webmeister
• Sell hash gear and haberdashery at local and out-of-town hashes and events
• Keep a small amount of Hash Cash for making change

Hash Cash

• Collect hash cash at each event
• Send attendance list to Webmeister
• Work with Haberdasher on merchandise purchases
• Distribute appropriate reimbursements
• Provide ATM/Debit Cards and/or reimbursement to BeerMeisters
• Monitor and report balance & cash flows
  

Hash Flash

• Take pictures at hashes
• Send them to Webmaster for posting or Post to Kodak Share
