ACCOMMODATIONS:

The Campout location is at Bird's Nest Lodge in Steelville, MO
 http://www.birdsnestlodge.com/index.htm
We'll be at a separate private campground about a mile from their regular campground.  There is a house on the property and the first 22 paying regos have the option to stay in the house (at a higher price) (the house is air-conditioned).   The beds are double beds and there are 2 or 3 beds per bedroom.  You must bring your own sheets & towels.  Also, nobody gets a double bed alone.     Keep in mind also that shower / toilet  facilities for our campground are in the house.  In other words, if you're looking for privacy, pack your tent.

WHAT YOU GET:
  • Saturday Float trip (canoe)
  • Hot Tub
  • Sand Volleyball
  • Friday night dinner, 3 meals Saturday and hot breakfast on Sunday
  • Beer from our never-empty beer trailer (yes, the beer trailer is back)
  • Hash trails (Friday night, Saturday night and Sunday hangover hash)
  • Great camping and jungle hashing fun with all your buds.
  • Either a bed in the house or a place to pitch your tent

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:  (this is a hash, all times subject to change)

ABOUT THE FLOAT TRIP:

Saturday morning, we have to be ready to pack away early. The canoe rental is coming to pick our hungover sorry asses up at the campsite at 9:30 to 9:45 and we'll put in the water at 10:00.  Big-Hump is reserving the canoes. The float is 6 miles long along the Scenic Upper Meramec River.  We'll have a weiny roast on a gravel bar along the way.

For logistical reasons the Big Hump cannot provide beer during the float trip.
You must B.Y.O.B. (beer) for the actual float trip. Note: Glass containers are illegal on the river, bring cans for the float trip.
